Outdoor swimming |  |
Outdoor swimming takes place at Nordnes Sjøbad.
Inside there is a heated pool, locker rooms, sitting areas and two saunas. There are stairs going down to the sea there, and if you are really brave you can jump in from the diving boards. You can choose want you want to do, and how long you want to stay for.
Although this is not a group class, our coaches will let you know when we all go into the sea together, and you can join in if you want. You must be able to swim to join this activity.
What should you bring?
- We have all the equipment you need for this activity.
- Bring a towel, swimwear and preferably a water bottle.
- It is possible to lock small valuables with the entrance strap.
- There is no room to lock a large bag, but it can be left in the cloakroom at your own risk.
When and where will you meet?
Every thursday from 16:00 to 17:30 there is outdoor swimming. Meet at Nordnes Sjøbad.
ATTENTION! Feel free to meet 10 minutes before training starts to make sure you join.

Kristin Kristin is a super sporty and skilled swimmer and is one of our outdoor swimming instructors. She has a previous career in underwater rugby and with her around you can definitely feel safe. Kristin swims all year round if the opportunity is there! As Kristin herself says it; for her, the extreme is the comfortable. She has also walked Across Norway to promote mental health. |

Jessica Jessica is a regular trainer for outdoor swimming, but you also often meet her in the café on Tuesdays or the other activities. Jessica is a bubbly and happy Swede who manages to make everyone feel seen. |

Torbjørn Torbjørn trains in the Psychiatry Alliance. He is a positive and outgoing fellow with a lot of good humour. You see him at both football, strength training and outdoor swimming. |
