Kayaking is a great way to experience nature on the water. You don't need any prior knowledge to join in, this activity is equally suitable for beginners as well as experienced paddlers. Our trainers er experienced kayakers and are able to adapt the training to any level you are at. If you are new til kayaking you will get an introduction in saftey rules and learn how to manouver the kayak. For your own safety, you must be able to swim.

What do you need?
You can borrow all nessasary equipment like: a life jacket, a paddling jacket and a wetsuit. The activity lasts several hours, so remember to dress according to the weather. It's nice to wear woolen clothing underneath if it's cold outside. Bring a change of dry clothes.
Feel free to bring food and water for the lunch break.

Where will you meet?
Paddling takes place at Fana rowing club.

Hans Ove
Hans Ove is one of our instructors who is a keen kayaker. Hans Ove is passionate about the sea and kayaking, and with him by your side you can feel safe and looked after.

Hans Ove is our prime mover on the paddling and he will teach you everything you need to get on the lake.
Daniel
Daniel is a coach in kayaking and bouldering. He is a calm fellow with a good mood and a great ability to make everyone feel included.
Henrik
Henrik is a paddling pensioner who is a reserve companion on the Psychiatric Alliance's paddling trips on the Fanafjord.
