Climbing in Bergenshallen will be cancelled on Wednesday, May 27th.

We’re happy to finally offer climbing at the new Askøy Arena!
Come and join us on Wednesday, March 18 from 4:30–6:30 PM.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re new to climbing or have tried it before.
Remember to sign up in advance!

Climbing at Askøyhallen – Temporary Pause

Unfortunately, we have to cancel the climbing sessions at Askøyhallen on Wednesday, 25 February and Wednesday, 4 March due to the dismantling of the climbing wall. We look forward to starting up again as soon as the climbing wall in the new Askøy Arena is ready – most likely on Wednesday, 11 March.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to climbing together again soon!

Monday climbing 2:00–3:30 PM is moved from Bergenshallen to Sandslihallen.

Please note: Applies from Monday, January 12.

NOTE: New time on monday climbing: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Climbing back to normal from September 1st.

Monday climbing is back in Bergenshallen.

Wednesday climbing is back in Bergenshallen.

We also have climbing on Askøy in Askøyhallen on Wednesdays and Bouldering with the Red Cross.

New climbing routes are still being developed in Bergenshallen, which means that there will be some changes in training when the routes are updated.

Climbing on Monday, August 25th will be moved to Sandslihallen, but will be at the same time, 14:00 - 15:30.

Climbing on Wednesday, August 27th is cancelled.

Climbing on Wednesday, August 20th is cancelled.

NOTE: Climbing on Monday goes back to the time from 14:00 to 15:30. The change will take place from Monday 10 March.

Monday Climbing at Bergenshallen Time Change.
The new time is: 12:00–1:30 PM.
This change applies from January 20th until the beginning of March.

We would like to inform you that Monday Climbing at Bergenshallen will return to its original schedule starting next Monday, December 9th.

Monday climbing changes place from Sandslihallen to Bergenshallen from Monday 14 October. This will be a permanent change going forward. If you don't know where to meet, follow the map on the activity page for climbing on the website (Link to map).

Bergenshallen will be refurbishing climbing routes and will therefore be closed for the next 3 weeks from next week.

Climbing takes a break on Wednesdays from and including 21 August to 4 September. We will be back on Wednesday 11 September.

But don't worry, we have climbing on Mondays with registration in Sandslihallen.

The climbing sessions on Wednesdays will now take place at Bergenshallen instead of Fantoft from Wednesday 19 June. This change is permanent.

How do I find the climbing place?
The climbing wall is located in Landås just south of Bergen city center in Vilhelm Bjerknesvei 24. The wall is in the same building as the ice hall "Bergenshallen", a separate entrance to the climbing wall is on the short side of the building to the south. The light rail passes the hall, get off at the "Sletten" stop and follow the main road 200 m up to the Betgenshallen. Bybanen departs from the city center/Nesttun every 5/10 minutes.
