Bergen Whites supports the Psychiatry Alliance!

Bergen Whites (Leeds supporters in Bergen) has been an good support of Psykiatrialliansen for many years. Today we had another, pleasant visit to the office by some of the managers and zealots in Bergen Whites.

Finally, we can start up again with Tuesday swimming at AdO

We are very happy that we are now starting up again with this popular offer. With lovely help from our good friends at the Salvation Army Place Bergen, we can now offer 30 places for swimming in AdO every Tuesday from now on.

Psykiatrialliansen marked World Mental Health Day

On 10 October, we marked the World Day for Mental Health in Kronstad, in good cooperation between DPS Kronstad, the Experience Consultants and Psykiatrialliansen.

Climbing on Wednesday takes a break, but there is climbing on Mondays instead

Climbing, which is on Wednesdays in Trene Sammen Hallen at Fantoft, is taking a short break from now until 6 December. There is climbing every Monday at 14:00 – 15:30 in Sandslihallen instead.

Unfortunately, Psykiatrialliansen has to temporarily cut in training sessions

Psykiatrialliansen has unfortunately lost the state grant from the Norwegian Directorate of Health this year. In the previous 7 years, we have received NOK 600,000.00 each year in operating grants, but this year we unfortunately do not receive any support from them. The refusal is based on the fact that, according to new guidelines, the subsidy scheme can no longer support low-threshold and activity offers such as Psykiatrialliansen. It is also justified by the fact that we do not have sufficient user participation at all levels. We do not quite understand this reasoning.
This unfortunately means that we will have to reduce the training sessions for the rest of 2023 in order to save costs. We hope that this will only be a temporary situation in the coming months, and that from 2024 we will be able to return to full operation again. |
