It will reopen for outdoor swimming tomorrow, Thursday (October 13)! Everyone is welcome, always!
Nordnes Sjøbad has been closed for a few weeks, but luckily it will reopen tomorrow. We meet at the entrance to Nordnes Sjøbad at 16.00, and lasts until 17.30. No pre-registration is required; just show up.
The activity obviously requires that you are able to swim and can take care of yourself in the water. Otherwise, the main goal is for us to enjoy ourselves and be social.
Our competent instructors Jessica and Christian are there and look after safety, together with all the lifeguards at Nordnes Sjøbad.
You choose entirely yourself what you want to do in the outdoor swimming, and how long you want to be there. At Nordnes, we can make use of two saunas, a heated pool of around 34° and the beautiful sea, which is currently around 11 degrees.
We tend to encourage each other to take dips in the lake together, and if you are new, we are among the first times you want to test the cold water.
You only need to bring swimwear, a towel and warm dry clothes to change into. Some also choose to bring a bathrobe, swimming goggles, hat and gloves.
It is important that you arrive at 4pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to admit people who arrive late. If you arrive late, you unfortunately have to pay and get in on your own. Let us know if you are unsure about anything. See you at Nordnes Sjøbad.
