Our fantastic coach Kristin from the outdoor swimming group walked the length of Norway, from Lindesnes to Nordkapp to promote mental health and the Psychiatry Alliance! The trip was well over 3000 kilometers, and she set aside six months. She wanted to walk most of the time alone, but on some stages she was accompanied. Overnight stays were mostly in tents.

Along the way, she visited several municipalities and treatment institutions and promoted physical activity and mental health. Kristin wanted to show the importance of physical activity in both the prevention and treatment of mental illness. She informed about the Psychiatry Alliance and the important work we do. Several people showed great interest from other parts of the country to learn more about our model.
