Nursing students from HVL have had internships with us

For the past five weeks, we have been fortunate to have four nursing students from HVL in practice with us at the Psychiatric Alliance. The students have participated in a number of our different trainings and attended various information meetings.

They have also conducted an anonymous survey among our participants to look at how low-threshold activity offers affect health and quality of life.

The conclusion is that low-threshold activity offers play an important role for both the individual and society. It promotes coping, social belonging and better mental health. Such offers contribute to a more inclusive and health-promoting society. In addition, it helps to reduce the burden on the health care system and social services by preventing mental disorders and improving the participants' quality of life.

On Tuesday morning, March 18, there was a presentation of all the students' project work, with a poster exhibition at the University College. Our group won a well-deserved prize for best presentation, with the project "Low threshold - high quality of life." We congratulate and thank the students Nidal, Mari, Sigrid and Martine for their brilliant efforts during their internship at Psykiatrialliansen.
