Mood report from league match in volleyball

We have played a league match in volleyball on Wednesday 19 February. We played our best game this year in the series, against a good and well-coordinated BSI team. They have played together all season. We play with almost a new team every game so that everyone who wants to play will be allowed to participate as much. Thanks to BSI for good resistance and a fair fight!

There were two narrow losses in both sets, the first we lost 23 - 25 and the last set we lost 22 - 25. We played our game and led the game in parts in both sets. In other words, this could have gone either way.

The coach is super pleased with the team effort. There was good interaction in a team that has not played together before. Just that we play so evenly with BSI with that starting point is very impressive. We played well for each other and had a positive spirit in the team. All our players did their best and we played 'fear play' so it lasted and gave away some points on that as well, but then we also got some back where the other team also chose to play honestly.

After the match, our solid referees Hanna and Sigbjørn judged another match. They also do a super important job and their effort and contribution means that we get to play in the corporate series, as there is a requirement to stand up often as referees. I would also like to give a hand up to the female referees from Fisken who made a great effort to make the match as fair as possible.
