Report from match day 3 in the Dream Euro Cup

Here is a report from the third match day in the Dream Euro Cup 2024, Futsal EC in Rome.

Today we played a match against England.

We had a good charge for the match, with a nice and warm trip to the Vatican. The Norwegian team came to the stadium in our new Leeds kits sponsored by our friends in Bergen Whites, which created a lot of attention from both the English team and the audience in the hall.

The match itself was just as tough and even as expected, with a lot of fighting and tough duels.

England took the lead 1-0 before Norway equalized on a penalty by Torbjørn. England then regained the lead 2-1 on a counterattack. Despite the fact that we had some good opportunities towards the end, it was unfortunately a narrow loss in a very even match.

Now we heal the wounds and recharge for the next match, which will be against Croatia on Friday. We are looking forward to it!
